Welcome!

As you may know, planning for the new Woodside playground has already begun--and we are very excited to get underway! Our budget is modest compared to other playground projects you may have seen in surrounding communities--prices of out-of-the-box sets can easily start at $50,000--but our ideas are inventive, interesting, and most of all, fun. Our goal is to find low-cost alternatives that enhance the natural setting of our school, inspire creative play, and can be sourced from local businesses as much as possible. Rather than a cookie-cutter playground, we want to think outside the box!

While we haven't designed the major elements of the playground yet, there are a few small but significant changes to the play areas that will take place over the summer and pave the way for planning in the fall. Check back here during vacation--we'll keep you posted on the happenings.
